Mount Pleasant, Michigan

In the state of Michigan;

The Michigan State Police (MSP) are launching a campaign during the month of March that aims to educate drivers on the proper use of the "left-hand lane" on Michigan highways. The Michigan State police assert that drivers who are continuously using the left lane, or are going too slow in the left lane will be pulled over and informed that the left lane is for passing only.

The Michigan State Police maintain that using the left lane improperly can cause problems with the flow of traffic and can create dangers to other drivers.

The initiative to educate drivers is set to go through until the end of April according to Fox17online.com. To review this law as written by the Michigan legislature click here.
